The opportunity to teach children Bible stories can be one of the most rewarding opportunities you will ever have.  Children are eager learners, and with a little preparation and planning, they, too, can learn the time-honored truths of scripture.  The children can be personally involved in your teaching and will remember the concepts you teach.  Do your research, plan some exciting activities and make a difference in a child's life.

Children do not have the same attention span as adults.  If you have 30 minutes to read to the child, keep it moving.

When teaching Bible stories to children, it is important to break the stories down into ways that children can relate to and understand.

If the story has more than one part, read only one part at a time and ask the child questions regarding that part of the story.  Save the other parts for another time.
