Hail, Holy Queen
Hail, Holy Queen,
Mother of mercy,
our sweetness, and
To you do we cry,
poor banished children of Eve.
To you do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping in his valley of tears.
Turn then, most gracious advocate,
your eyes of mercy toward us,
and after this, our exile,
show unto us the blessed fruit of
your womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving,
O sweet Virgin Mary.
Pray for us, holy Mother of God,
that we may be made worthy
of the promises of Christ.
Prayer to Saint Joseph
Ordered to be said during the month of October
by the Holy Father Pope Leo XIII on August 20, 1885
along with the Rosary and Litany of Loreto
in all churches and oratories;
Decree S.R.C. May 3, 1960.
To thee, O blessed Joseph, do we fly in our tribulation;
and having implored the help of thy most holy spouse,
we confidently crave thy patronage also.
Through that charity which bound thee
to the Immaculate Virgin Mother of God,
and through the paternal love
with which thou didst embrace the Child Jesus,
we humbly beseech thee graciously
to regard the inheritance which Jesus Christ
hath purchased by His Blood
and with thy power and strength
to aid us in our necessities.
O most watchful guardian of the Divine family,
defend the chosen children of Jesus Christ;
O most loving Father,
ward off from us every contagion of error
and corrupting influence;
O our most mighty protector,
be propitious to us,
and from heaven assist us in this our struggle
with the power of darkness;
and as once thou didst rescue the Child Jesus
from deadly peril,
so now protect God's Holy Church
from the snares of the enemy and from all adversity;
Shield, too, each one of us by thy constant protection,
so that, supported by thine example and thine aid,
we may be able to live piously,
to die holily, and to obtain eternal happines in heaven.
Prayer to The Little Flower
O Little Flower of Jesus,
ever consoling troubled souls with heavenly graces,
in your unfailing intercession I place my trust.
From the Heart of Our Blessed Savior petition these blessing of which I stand in greatest need
Shower upon me your promised roses of virtue and grace, dear St. Therese,
so that swiftly advancing in sanctity and in perfect love of neighbor,
I may someday receive the crown of eternal life.
